ECN

Energy research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN) is the largest energy research institute in the Netherlands. With around 500 members of staff, we are active in projects both at home and abroad, in joint efforts with the industry, government authorities and research institutes. ECN is experienced in the definition and execution of projects in the R&D area. The program Energy Efficiency in Industry within the unit Biomass & Energy Efficiency (B&EE) develops amongst others energy efficient technology for the process industry. Main developments include heat pumps & heat storage, structured reactors and distillation equipment, membrane and sorption based separation and separation enhanced reactors, and process design and evaluation.

ISPT

The Institute for Sustainable Process technology is a co-operation between industry, universities, and knowledge institutes, which aims at speeding up innovation processes and make them more efficient than they are at present. Apart from developing knowledge, the institute aims at the development, demonstration and application of breakthrough technology with a special focus on process technology.

AkzoNobel

AkzoNobel is a leading global paints and coatings company and a major producer of specialty chemicals. Bavaria

Beerbrewer Bavaria is the second oldest family-owned company in the Netherlands. Bavaria employs around 1000 people in total, nationally and internationally. Under the management of the Swinkels family, beer has been brewed in accordance with a unique family recipe for seven generations, at the Bavaria Brewery in the south of the Netherlands.

Bronswerk Heat Transfer

BHT is a heat exchanger (condensers, heaters, etc) and air cooler equipment manufacturer. The mission of Bronswerk Heat Transfer is to offer the client the best solution for heat transfer and fluid-flow systems. The challenges presented by the client are translated in sustainable, energy saving and innovative solutions of the highest possible quality. By optimizing the installations thermodynamically, mechanically and economically, Bronswerk Heat Transfer realizes the greatest possible benefits for the client.

DOW

Dow's history in the Benelux started in 1955, in Rotterdam, with the opening of a business office. Now, more than half a century later, Dow Benelux has grown to be a key player within the industry. Approximately 2000 employees in 6 locations and 20 plants in the Netherlands and Belgium are working on technology driven chemistry on a world wide scale. The plastics and chemicals that are produced in the Benelux find their way to clients and markets all over the world. The heart of Dow in the Benelux is in Terneuzen, Zeeuws Vlaanderen. With its 17 plants and approximately 1,700 employees Dow Terneuzen is the second largest production location of the Dow Chemical Company. As the largest employer of Zeeuws Vlaanderen, Dow has contributed to the economic and social success of the region for almost 50 years.

IF Technology is an independent engineering consultancy firm founded in 1989 in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Since then, IF Technology has provided expertise spanning the entirety of thermal energy project timelines for clients in the industrial, geothermal development and public sectors worldwide.

LambWestonMeyer

Lamb Weston® is a world leading brand in high quality potato products, and is sold in over 100 countries around the world. In a collaboration between with ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston and Lamb Weston / Meijer. The company Lamb Weston / Meijer serves the EMEA region and is based in The Netherlands. The company operates five factories: in the Netherlands (3), the United Kingdom (1) and Austria (1). The company Lamb Weston / Meijer employs 1,200 people in the EMEA region.

SmurfitKappa

SmurfitKappa is one of the leading producers of paper-based packaging in the world, with around 41,000 employees in approximately 350 production sites across 32 countries and with a sales revenue of €7.9 bn in 2013.

Warmtebedrijf Rotterdam

The Warmtebedrijf Rotterdam transports heat from the Rotterdam harbor to Rotterdam. The heat is used for the district heating system. This contributes directly to the climate targets of the city of Rotterdam. Delivery and purchase of this heat provides lots of opportunities for the Rotterdam industry. The Warmtebedrijf Rotterdam accommodates the supply and demand for heat in cooperation with both her supplier and customers.
